For the renowned Triennial Bruges 2024, an event celebrating the dialogue between art and architecture within a historic setting, the “Tower of Balance” was created, an impressive wooden viewpoint gracing the King Albert I Park in Bruges.
Together with WoodInnovation, Belwood Amel supplied precisely prefabricated cross-laminated timber (CLT) elements in industrial visual grade on both sides, as well as 13 m³ of visually graded glued laminated timber (BSH), and contributed to the pre-assembly of this striking structure. Set against the Bruges skyline, the tower stands not only as an architectural landmark but also as a way to revive a once-forgotten corner of the city.
