Police Station Diksmuide
The new police station in Diksmuide embraces a modern, sustainable timber construction. For this forward-looking project, Belwood supplied 321 m³ of visually graded glued laminated timber (BSH), block-laminated, and, in partnership with WoodInnovation, solid cross-laminated timber (CLT) panels in thicknesses of 60, 100, and 160 mm, all in industrial visual grade on both sides.
By using high-quality glued laminated and cross laminated elements, the building not only achieves a warm and welcoming atmosphere but also sets a benchmark for sustainable public infrastructure.
